Abortion is an issue that is very dear to my heart. In Africa, Nigeria it is a widespread problem. Even though i refer to it as a problem, to many women the reverse is the case, simply because abortion is an act that can be done at will with out the consent of any one. What makes it pathetic, the door is open for any woman who considers it a choice. The stories are sometimes the same… she gets knocked up, doesn’t bother to tell her boyfriend because it is an inconvenience.. so her only option is an abortion. The ugly cycle goes on and on… but the flip side is why is it on the rise? Why is there no information available to women on the side effects to having an abortion, Are there enough information centres in the country educating women on this issue.
