THE ORIGEN OF MAN

The origin of the human race gets complicated with new discoveries, each one a direct antithesis of the other. The idea that man migrated out of Africa about a million years ago and back again is not new. A theory now claimed to be wrong because of the recent discoveries at Dmanisi in Georgia, dated to be 1.8 million years ago, much earlier than the “out of Africa” and back again theory, which postulates the early migration out of Africa of a human like group , who may have spent some time in Eurasia before migrating back into Africa. It is a hypothesis with unanswered questions.
The intriguing issue about the “out of Africa theory and back again theory is that our ancestors left our homeland and came back again. Though impractical, am tempted to subscribe to the theory probably, because of my roots as an African, even as the story of human evolution becomes messy.
The focal point therefore is to first understand that humans are divinely created as such the total human makeup cannot be replicated.
So, with all the attention on the story of human origin, my bus stop is the creation story in the Bible which stands the test of time. My reasons are not farfetched. The Bible is the word of God, indicative of his infinite power and abilities in creating this world and its population. A world designed to his perfect will.
