Promise to myself

This week as I reflected on happenings in Nigeria and the world, I realised the importance of been true to oneself as the world offers nothing but the WORLD. As Christians our faith is our guide and it not only separates but divides one from the world. The Christian faith is that of daily practicing how to live right. It is a training process that makes you stand, one of self-discipline. Besides, what kind of life would one have without a way of conduct in all spheres of life. However “you only live once but if you do it right, once is enough” Presently, the world is certainly bringing true God’s words for the end times and our position or stand should reflect in what we do and how we do things. So, first “Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind” It is about staying true to God’s promises and living each day by his rules. Yes! his rules are not those of the world.
As the days which are not promised to anyone go by seeing everything as real is paramount and allowing one’s imagination to make the other part real too is vital. So my Promise…
“To be so strong that nothing
can disturb your peace of mind.
To talk health, happiness, and prosperity
to every person you meet.
To make all your friends feel
that there is something in them
To look at the sunny side of everything
and make your optimism come true.
To think only the best, to work only for the best,
and to expect only the best.
To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others
as you are about your own”.
