“That’s brilliant. You must have worked very hard,” I said to my 13 year old son Aran, upon learning that he had come 1st in his year for Spanish.
“I didn’t work hard at all Dad,” came back the reply. “The teacher makes the lessons so interesting that when I came to revise, I found that I could remember virtually everything.”
The way we communicate with others and with ourselves ultimately determines the quality of our lives and can change the world.
When Steve Jobs tried to lure John Sculley away from his role as CEO of Pepsi, he asked Sculley, “Do you want to sell sugared water for the rest of your life, or do you want to change the world?”
Sculley promptly joined Apple and helped to change the world.
